Rekindling this she has in 2022 completed a 6 month incubator mentored by designer Emma Jeffs with her former university READ ALL ABOUT IT https://www.arts.ac.uk/knowledge-exchange/stories/3-graduates-on-how-ual-incubator-launch-helped-them-start-their-creative-enterprises and is now continuing this work with the Prince’s Trust Enterprise programme for young entrepreneurs.

In the early 2000s Jasmine’s mother had a children’s clothes shop on Stoke Newington Church Street ‘‘The Little Folk Store’’ is was a popular clothes shop showcasing colourful pops of vibrancy, folk style and hippy aesthetics of the time. Jasmine is often inspired by the innovation and creativity of her mother and hopes to fuel this inspiration into her own clothing and fashion business journey.

In 2021 after navigating the pandemic Jasmine worked in a variety of freelance projects in Film, Performance, Theatre, Site-Specific Art, Festivals and is now in the process of setting up her own entrepreneurial ventures, including a FreedomEve© Fashion and Furniture setting herself up in bespoke vintage fashion and furniture & launching her Start up (FreedomEve Designs) DESIGN WORK

In 2022 Jasmine began her side hustle venture Freedom Eve Fashion and Furniture which consisted of rekindling her childhood love of up-cycling furniture and her passion for fashion. 

Completing her training and education in fashion textiles, costume design and making and from a young age, Jasmine having been influenced and surrounded by natural materials and textures this is a source of her passion and inspiration for bringing her business to life.

She is now furthering this exploration into her fashion and furniture business… Surrounded by antique furniture since growing up in Suffolk, spending weekends visiting boot sales, charity shops and antique stores, her home has been filled with eccentric and unusual furniture and fashions which she has been exploring further in her research and development of her business through painting, decorating, sanding, varnishing and adding a little sparkle to her current South London home.
